ActiveWin.com, appears to of expired. At the time of posting Robert Stein the owner of AW, and affiliate to Neowin, was unavailable for comment.
In some territories, ActiveWin still appears to be online, but it's only a matter of time before worldwide DNS servers are updated and the site will be inaccessible for the first time in just under 10 years. The last time ActiveWin went offline was temporary, and was also due to a DNS change from ActiveWindows.com to what we know today, after Microsoft ordered the website to drop "Windows" from its name. Whatever the case, we at Neowin hope that they have all the proper measures in place to succesfully renew their domain name and get the site back up sooner rather than later!
