An interesting thing just hapened to me a short while ago. I logged into messenger(5.0.0527) and it informed me that there was a newer version of MSN Messenger available. So I downloaded and installed it, and to my surprise, the version number now stands at 5.0.0537. One has to wonder if this is the final version that will be released alongside MSN8 this Thursday. If you want it, I suppose all you need to do is log into Messenger 5(whichever build you're using) and it'll inform you of the update.
