OK I am old fashioned. We have a network of 4 computers using BNC thin coax cable to link all the computers (hey it works!). However once I installed .net Server on our 'Server' it could not see any of the other computers nor could they see it or access it.

Is there a setting somewhere I have missed? Also for reference, the Server has 2 network cards in, the other is for our cable modem.

Thanks for any help.

I just set it up last night had to configure the server and specify the type, I used file to start just to share files so far.
go start, administrative tools and then configure your server, and follow the wizard it works, and you can configure more than one type..

I did that still nothing ...

Must be doing something wrong. Have XP Pro back on atm after doing an image restore just in case. I had this problem with all Server software that i managed to try. Weird.

Are you on BNC or CAT cabling though?
