I found this out today when I went to look at this month's bill, and it's good news for me, as I've been a little disappointed with DirecTV's HD lineup until now. Today DirecTV announced an increase in HD channels, with up to 72 available. According to DirecTV, this is "significantly more than any other television provider in the nation." They also reaffirmed their goal of 100 HD channels by the end of the year.
