There is no doubt 2007 has been a great year for fans of Galactic Civilizations. The Dark Avatar expansion pack was released earlier this year, and since then, several significant game patches have also been released. The second expansion pack, Twilight of the Arnor, was recently announced and GameSpy's Allen 'Delsyn' Rausch sat down with Brad Wardell to get some more info about this upcoming expansion.
The interview covers a range of topics including the new technology tree, the campaign being written by Brad himself, and one of the most talked about features, the Terror Star. Here is an excerpt about the Terror Star:
GameSpy: Tell us about the Terror Star. The inspiration is obvious, but what will it cost to make such a thing and do you really think it'll get used very much?
Wardell: The Terror Star destroys entire star systems. It's quite handy, especially late game, for... finishing off entrenched players. They are very expensive to build and quite vulnerable so only players who have significant military superiority can really benefit.
