Hi everybody!

I'm currently running WinXP-Pro SP1 (MSDN) and have installed Office XP-SP2 on it. When using Outlook, when I try to open emails that have any html, or graphics, pictures, basically anything but just straight text.. Outlook hangs, I get the hourglass waiting, so I give it a few minutes then outlook comes up (Not Responding). So I close it out. Reload in Safe-Mode, same prob.
I try the Detect and Repair, after that it'll work for a few times then start not responding again. I did the messenger fix (bypass),. I have NAV2002.
None of this happened before the WinXP SP1 update (slipstreamed xp-sp1 and did new install on everything). I have heard of NAV causing some probs, so I tried not loading NAV (disabled in msconfig from loading), still does it.
Anyone else have this prob? Any idears would help.
thanks guys

aha, this happened to me a while ago.
for sure u may have chosen Word as the email editor, have ya? for me, as long as i opened plain text emails it was all right.
i think this is some sofware crash. as far as i can remember, this problem disappeared eventually, may be after i reinstall windows and other software a later time. anyway, it is really good: this post.
geeks will have answerz to this.

good question, for real
i use Outook, because all the emails (with attachments as well) and other stuff goes to one PST file which i can burn to a CDR.
(don't ask what's the point of burning emails to a CDR cos they r valuable for me)
