After months of attempting to hammer out a settlement (http://www.appscout.com/2007/07/stay...th_pandora.php) that will determine the future of Internet radio as we know it--a process that included petitions and bi-partisan Congressional intervention--The Digital Media Association (DiMA) and SoundExchange have finally reached an agreement.

The initial $500 per station minimum royalty, which would have proved a particularly large blow to providers like Pandora and Last.fm, who offer a potentially infinite number of stations, has officially been capped at $50,000 per station.
