The Edifier Audio Group opened its doors in Beijing, China in 1996. They became a trans-national company in 1998 opening operations in North America, with the companies head offices in Vancouver Canada. They currently employ over 2,500 people and hit a sales record of over 6 million units produced and sold in 2004. The company and its product seem to be very well known and respected overseas and they are building a solid reputation in North America.
