I have a Microsoft Office Keyboard, and the driver is v2.0, and not "signed". I downloaded the newest version (v2.2) from MS, and installed it, but it still is not "signed" and it did not update the version number on my device properties.

First, why would a MS driver not be MS "signed", especially since the system requirements state all MS versions from 98 and up (including XP) are compatible?

Second, why would it not update the file, knowing that the file is newer, and it should update?

Any advice would help.

Sorry for posting on this SP1 forum, but the driver version states "file version" XP SP1 on the "Driver Details".
