http://www.computerworld.com/action/...eId=9025 764), Dell Inc. yesterday quietly made free online storage standard for all new Inspiron and XPS computers, the first time a top-tier OEM has bundled the service with consumer systems.
Called "Dell DataSafe Online," the one-year deal provides 3GB of storage for all new Inspiron desktops and notebooks, and 10GB with new XPS machines. After-purchase options let users upgrade to 10GB, 20GB, or 30GB, and extend the subscription. Upping the allowance from 3GB to 30GB, for instance, costs $39 for 12 months.
