Yahoo brings back co-founder Yang as CEO

Yahoo chief executive Terry Semel has resigned, and will be replaced by the co-founder of the Internet search giant, Jerry Yang, the group said Monday.

The move comes as Yahoo has been steadily losing ground to rival Google as a search engine and portal for Web users.
