I am not sure, but have you looked in Documents and Settings -> (your username) -> Application Data -> Microsoft...possibly some more folders? Just a thought

Rad,

Can't you just open the news post and right-click on the attachment, selecting "save as" then tell it where to save? You are using the Outlook Express news client, right? If so, that works for me....

I beleive in outlook it is the .pst folder and outlook express it is the .dbx folder.

*edit*
make sure you select in folder options "show hidden and system folders"

@JacKDynne, well yeah I could, but I more just want to find out where all this stuff is saved. lol so that it could be deleted if needed lol

well I found it and zonko was right they seem to be .dbx files, because I guess newsreader comes with outlook express and not outlook or something lol
here is the path incase anyone else cares.

C:\Documents and Settings\RadiationBoy\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{6BBE3F9F-0136-4546-975B-7F5BE4CCE9B6}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

I found it by going into the options for newsreader and it tells you the folder where it stores everything lololol silly me

thanks for all the help
