Loved and Lost

I guess it has to happen doesn't it? My girlfriend and I split up after 3 years. So I am feeling quite down and hurt at the moment. Perhaps tapping away will help a bit.

She felt I wasn't the right person for her, she couldn't even really give me any decent reason as to what. Also I even offered to try and fix the things wrong in our relationship to try and make it work, but she didn't seem or wanted to make it work.

I was always there for her, and did lots of stuff for her ... so the problem must lie with her and not me. *sigh*

She was my first one as well, so as they say its always hard. Whats the saying? Better to have loved and lost and never loved at all.

Anyways, thanks for reading and putting up with my ... upsets. You are all a great bunch of people, and I am proud to be a part of this community.

Good luck man. Help you feel better. There are 6 billion+ people all the planet so you got a really good chance of finding someone who feels the same way about you. I guess she just was not that person.

It takes two to fuck it up. Just remember that. No matter what you say it always take two. Even if someone cheats. The person cheated because he/she's needs were not meet. Sorry. Just please don't start the blame game with her. Just let it go. She was not good enough for you anyways. Just let it go.

I will always remember when my friend's cousin killed himself because his girlfriend broke up with him. He was a good kid. Good grades and everthing. A really kind smart youngman. He loved her, but she didn't and he could not live with that.

So he did what he thought would end the pain, but it just makes it worst. He died at age 17.

I'm not saying that you will kill yourself. Shit I don't even know how old you are. Just praying you aren't thinking that way.

More than 85% of relationships fail. I'm not talking about marriage people. Just general relationships. Friends, marriage, etc.

Sorry to hear you two didn't work out. Don't worry mate, you will get over. I'm sure you will find a better one. I have to agree with War59312, it takes 2 to fcuk up. Please don't be hard on yourself.

Heh, don't worry the suicide route is not one I want to take. Im 23. Probably not as high flying as your friends cousin n all, but the prospects are bright.
