Dr. Watson Debugger disable

I noticed recently that if IE 7 closed down, my WinXP Pro o/s would seem to hang-up. Not crashed, but "frozen". Seems to be Dr. Watson Debugger running and stopping everything else. Windows Help has a fix to disable it. Simply export the AeDebug key and then delete the key.

Anybody else notice this annoying feature of Dr. Watson?

I note that my version of WinXp is more lively now that I eliminated this key from the registry. Anybody having trouble with freezes after an IE 7failure?
