Richard Taylor ~ October 30, 1946 to January 22, 2007
Richard Taylor October 30, 1946 to January 22, 2007
It is with great sadness that I announce the death of Richard Taylor, who we knew as richardc2000. He was a well-liked and respected English instructor in Vancouver, BC. He actively pursued to assist both his students in the classroom and creating a positive environment online for people like you and me.
Respectively I'm still shocked of his death, but this announcement will help us all deal with it. He was an active member at here, and a whole bunch of web forums. He was a true teacher in day job and night life.
May you rest in peace, Richard.

I'm so shocked, and sad by hearing this news.
I feel like I've known him forever as an online friend.
I'm speechless. My prayers are with his family, students & friends.

Many of us have been members of BetaONE since 2001 and have come to expect certain people to be around to help us with our interests. Richard was always there and I didn't know he was a professor in BC. What a shame and what a sad thing for his loved ones.
I'm out here in the east (Toronto) and 9 years older, so appreciate this blow more than many.
Got Richard and his loved ones in my prayers.
