I totally agree with you.
I have experienced and endured all of these inexcusable problems.
I have had several burns cancelled midstream because I hit the spacebar to cancel the screen saver to see whether the burn is finished.....only to have the burn ruined.
As you said, there are many other problems, many of which were my own computer's glitches, untiol I came across your above post.
I just hate the automatic reboot, which has caught me in the middle of important things which were lost as a result. Nortons products also used to pull this stunt a copuple of years ago.
But to thinhk that MS puts in these problems on purpose is enough to get one to make contributions to developers of linux, which by the way I already have done.
