Since the release of Windows Live Messenger some users have reported problems connecting to the service and retrieving mail through Windows Live Mail. Messages on the WLM newsgroups have indicated that this is due to server upgrades and the migration of hotmail accounts to the new Live Mail service. In a discussion on Neowins Back Page News it was reported that Microsoft temporarily made an updated build (792) available and then subsquently disabled the download. The following was posted on the Mess.be website:An anonymous Messer sent me a copy of a message from John from the Windows Live Beta team, posted in the private newsgroup for managed messenger beta testers:"Is there a build 792? Yes.Should you be downloading it? Not really. To be honest, it's not officially released yet, test isn't done testing it, so you're installing it at your own risk. We don't have a date or time that it will be officially released. And, for what it is worth, you won't see any differences if you do use it.What changed? I really want to know! I've really said all I can. Sorry."Its looking like build 787 is the one everyone should be using until Microsoft puts out an update trigger from within Messenger itself.
