Bugs in the apple
A security update for Apple Computer QuickTime media player is causing headaches for Windows and Mac OS users.
QuickTime 7.0.4 was released on Tuesday to fix a handful of serious security vulnerabilities which meant that left a user open to a spoofing attack.
But according to some users on an Apple forum the patch has so many bugs that the only way to remove them is to reinstall the entire system.
People are complaining that they lose all the QuickTime Pro features after installing the update and the Windows media player will not connect to the web after installation.
Apple has published a tool for Mac OS X users that removes QuickTime 7.0.4, and restores QuickTime 7.0.1, however Windows users are still stuck with it. So says this
