The things you can do with Intel insideMAKER of entertainment gear, Apple, is planning to release a whole new look to its Powerbooks.
According to
Apple Insider, not only will the outfit move to Intel chips in April or May - earlier than planned, but there will be a completely redesigned set of Intel iBook laptops released too.
Among these laptops is a 13-inch widescreen model and a 15-inch Powerbook that will be 20 to 25 per cent thinner than today's model.
Each of the new laptops will come with a built-in iSight video camera and the latest version of Apple's Photo Booth software.
Apple Insider said that Apple wants to be one of the first PC manufacturers out of the gate with Intel's upcoming dual-core processors. If true, that's bound to cheer up Dell and HP, never mind Lenovo, Acer, Fujitsu Siemens et al. More
