Hosting
I want to host a website, or find a free host with no ads, but back to my question....
Any tutorials on how to setup Apache 2.0 with PHP Support ASP Support and MYSql? I really need PHP and MYSql support with apache 2.0 if nothing else!
I am going to host a website that will be a computer service website. Also does Paypal offer a virtual terminal where you can process credit cards through that without the user going to your website? So I could say charge them for labor a travel time, someone please say you know what I'm getting at. Is Paypal good? They offer free business accounts, all you have to do is sign up! They just take the cut like 30cent a transaction and 2.5 or somethign %. Please help me!
Recap:
Apache2.0 + PHP + Mysql on a windows computer all living in perfect harmony? BTW I want to use my no-ip client with it also! Anyone nkow how to setup apache or any AIO programs that you just "install" and boom it all works!

I have a PayPal account, but don't use it often. If your serious about making a business site and need it hosted, don't waste your time use a FREE site ads or not. If your business takes off, the trouble you might receive with downtime or rule changes with FREE hosts makes it not worth the risk.
I have used www.1and1.com for sometime and have been happy. I'm not sure if they are the best around or not, but I'm happy with the service and cost so I'm not going anywhere.

First of all I would let someone else host it as it would be faster and usually no down time. If you are referring to the "page Under Construction" sign when site is down, there is a way for your url that is used to go automatically to another site when the site is down for repairs ......one which would be free and have some of your stuff but would also be a place where they could see the main site was down for "repairs". That would make them realize that the owner (you) was serious about the site being up even if it was not the original site that they wanted to see.
You also have the option to place a link on the "page Under Construction" that would lead them to the main site or e-mail you at an on-line e-mail host where you could check mail and save it there anytime and any place.
thanks

Glad I could help. I have never used apache, so I can't help you there. I received a free copy of NetObjects from 1and1 when I signed up. Because they gave me NetObjects when I signed up, they supported all the things needed to get everything going and online. Since NetObjects did everything I wanted to so far (See my sites: www.Proverbs26Verse11.com www.ClarkPto.com) I never tried anything else. I know the websites are nothing special, but they get the job done for me.

Hey,
I personally use NetServer:
http://netserver.hugosoft.net/
Comes with everything you asked for, but asp.
There is an asp extenstion some where but I've heard its pretty hard to setup and its slow compared to IIS.
Well here is mine for example:
http://war59312.servebeer.com/bt/
And yes as u can see running though no-ip.com as well.
Instant message me and I'll walk you though everything.
