I just slipstreamed 1097, made no file changes & the corp key was taken no troubles, so much for all the panic

That really wasn't the problem.
Without changing those files it would take the key but when the installation was finished it would no longer be activated. It would "revert" back to the 30 day trial period and would be reminding you to activate.
(just like a normal "Pro" version).

Are you saying that your installation is activated?

Hi,

My problem was when I Slipstreamed SP1 into CORP, it would only accept XP Pro Retail key.

Maybe I'll try again.
