nVidia is ready to file a new driver for its Nforce 4, SLI and Ultra motherboards.
It made a new version - 6.39 and it will make it available in early morning California time. That means that you fellow Europeans will be able to get it later in the evening today.
Nvidia made Windows XP and Windows 2000 driver for these new Nforce 4 chipsets and you need to have at least Service Pack 1 to install the drivers under Windows XP. You need DirectX 9 or higher in order to make NVMixer work. Those are the requirements.
If you have any Nforce 4/Ultra or SLI boards I believe that it might be a good idea to get these drivers. Nvidia updated the audio driver to 4.60 (WHQL), Audio utilities to 4.51, Ethernet driver to 4.68 (WHQL), SMBus driver to 4.45 (WHQL), Installer to version 4.60 and IDE NVIDIA driver to 5.07 (WHQL).
We can add that the driver is WHQL certified and that it will support dual processor systems. Nvidia added support for its Disk alert System and fixed some general compatibility problems.
