When I launch Drive Image 2002, and the computer starts to reboot, I get the Blue Screen of Death stating an error with usbstor.sys and usbohci.sys. I have xp sp1 1087 and that still did not resolve my problem.
What would be different in Drive Image 5 and 2002, as my v5.0 works fine?

I do have a usb cd burner, camera, sandisk, and keyboard and mouse (I love usb). No problems with any of those devices, before and after install od DI2002. The only problem I have is when DI2002 goes to shutdown and reboot in Dos, it happens right before the shutdown occurs.....

Does Drive Image run ok if you use the diskettes? Drivfe Image 2002 runs with WinXP, but I did have a problem on a Toshiba Tecra 8000 laptop. Drive Image 2002 wouldn't start up from Windows--that is the boot image that the program installs on the hd wouldn't work. But using the boot disk and dos drive image diskette worked fine.

If you look closely on this errormsg, you will see it's USB related.
Looks like a DOS-driver-error ( if I remember correct DI boots inrto a DOS environment )
Rremove all USB devices you dont need while running DI-2k2, then try again..

Yes, it works properly with floppies because if I am using the disks, I have to manually shutdown first, which causes no problems. The error occurs when DriveImage is attempting to do the shutdown it's self.
Why would the DriveImage shutdown process be different than manual shut down process?
I don't want to have to unplug all my usb devices to use 2002. I have all the lastest drivers...

Can't answer your question, but I could not get DI 2002 to run on that Tecra 8000. I upgraded it to a Satelite 5100 and it runs fine on it. No idea. Maybe you'll just have to got to using the diskettes.
