Apple was not amused when it found copies of its next-generation OS, codenamed Tiger, posted on popular BitTorrent sites for download. They have traced the leak of the new OS to three developers of the software, who have violated their non-disclosure agreements in releasing the new OS to BitTorrent sites.
"Tiger" contains many new innovations and enhancements on existing Mac OS X operating systems.
The forthcoming version of Apple's operating system contains more than 150 new features, including Spotlight, a new search mechanism, "Dashboard," a new application interface for mini-application "Widgets," and a multi-channel version of iChat AV, Apple's instant messaging, video and audio chat software.
Apple is taking steps to sue the three developers for illegally leaking the code.
