I just had to build another Win2K Server, and this one had a 64 Bits PCI Raid controller. Because it's a Hotplug PCI adapter (you can remove or install the card while the machine is running!) an icon is displayed in the system tray that leave a user of the machine with the choice to unplug/disable the device. It's the same program thats used to unplug USB devices.
Of course unplugging this harddisk controller crashes the machine. Because this machine is a Citrix Server it is not unthinkable that once someone will think "Hey, what's a RAID controller? I don't need that, so lets unplug this!" so I want to remove this trayicon, but I can't seem to find a way to do this.
Any BetaONE member knows a solution for this?
Cheers!
