Is anyone else having a problem with the compuer just rebooting on its own ? I have this problem with build 1081 and I had it with 1079. Anyone have any ideas ?

Did you make a good scan for virus or trojans ?

Be sure there is NOT a check in "reboot on errors" I think it is located in system properties. I am not at Xp now but if there is a check in there then remove it and you can read what the error says and sort it out.

Maybe you are getting BSODs and the "Startup & RecoverY" settings specified on ur pc are causing the machine to reboot when the BSOD takes place.

Check out what Dudelive wrote its more like that is the prob.. it happen to be before to.. If win get a prob it just rebot .

go to start - Controlpanel - System - Advanse - Settings and untick Automatically restart .

And when you are there go to error reporting to and untick disable error reporting..
