I was very moved by the recent CBS/48 Hours show about Erin and Joe Perry and their Sextuplets. Although I was somewhat upset after the show. Please read my email to CBS/48 Hours.
Dear CBS/48 Hours,
My wife and I (Family of four 1,3,6 & 7) would like to
give a little $MONEY$ to Erin and Joe Perry to help
them out. We assume that CBS didn't help out much
since they were not mentioned during the spot about
the places that helped them out. At the very least
after making an entire show about this family you
could have mentioned a link for those of us that care
enough to help to donate. I'm sure they have not had a
chance in the last year to think about making a
website of their own for donations or they are too
proud to ask for money. I would greatly appreciate it
if you could forward this email to the family or send
us a PayPal account we can donate to. Don't be scared
to offer a place to donate on their behalf since you
did make a complete show about them. I've seen Opra,
Jenny Jones & The old Maury Povich Show give more away.
Anything is better than nothing and to make it seem
like you were doing something special for them at the
end of the show and then didn't, it was a BIG shocker
for my wife and I.
I did receive a reply from CBS that did give me an address I could mail a donation to, which I did. Recently I received a picture of the sextuplets thanking me for the $25.00 gift. I know it was nothing much, but I was happy to help out this family. I don't feel it would be right for me to post their address in the open, so if you want it just send me a PM.
