A mate of mine has been registered with a DVD Cover site, for hi-res covers, for a while, now they have startred charging for their covers, it's not a great deal, but he was wondering whether it is possible to remove the companies logo from the DVD Cover,

If not then he will just pay for his covers.....

See attached Pic

i bet those images used are stolen... unless that site is lucky enough to have taken all those images from all those movies. if the cover site doesnt pay royalty to the industry then who would care if you removed their logos.

If he is looking for a cover this may be of use then check this out. If he does not like the way it looks open it with his editor and modify it to his liking. As long as it is for his own personal use I would think it would be fine.

Thanks

i sitll believe that it would be totally wrong for a site to charge for something they dont own in the first place. those are crooks, i hope they get shut down!

to answer your question, i believe Voodoo is in the right track of rather paying than wasting all those hours that will be spent editing the image. your sample image contains too much bogus copyright watermarking that it would be a total waste of time removing it... i would rather scour the web for useable images and data and create my own. BUT, if the sample image are high-res enough then i would consider salvaging the sample... then again, if your attachment is the real deal then scrap the idea. hth!
