I have used geniesoft backup manager for a while now with no problems.Now all of a sudden i cannot restore my data it gets to 63% then the programs just quits at this particular point.It happens with something to do with the temp folder.I deleted everything in the folder did a new backup and then tried to restore but i had the same problem.Anyone had anything similar or can offer any help.

Try this but edit it so that the directories are correct and then try to do a backup again.

There is more than one temp directory and this should remove them all if you set them correctly.

Dave is an unknown quantity at this point
It's been a while since I used that program.
But if it's any help, i'm pretty sure the backups are actually zip files with a different extention.
If you get in a bind you should be able to at least open it up and manually pull your important data out.

Thanks to both i changed the extention to "rar" and manually put all things back.Its strange how this has happened all of a sudden.
