A LOT OF THINGS are happening in ATI Europe and some serious changes are happening as we write. We think it might be some kind of master plan.
We recently learned that Norbert Kuperjans, the top marchitectural advisor at ATI has switched to one of its partner organisations.
This PC partner is affiliated to Sapphire, while another nice ATI chap, Simon Greer, has also shifted jobs to an ATI PC partner.
We don't know how this play will play in Asustekland.
And similar things have happened in ATI North Europe, where employees have just changed t-shirts and started to work for loyal partner Sapphire.
So there is perhaps some kind of ATI master plan, to push its highly trained staff to its partners to help them sell more kit.
What is the master plan? We can't help feeling that ATI is putting a lot of energy into its motherboard sales, and so the PC partners are benefiting from this adrenaline boost.
