I would like to give linux a try ,not sure which one though.

Red Hat and Mandrake seem to be the most common, but theres lots to choose from.

Is there a linux thats aimed at novice users or are they all basically the same?
TIA gazzb

try elx linux at w&w.elxliunx.com. very easy to install. it good for newbies but doesn't prevent development and advanced uses.
