Best way to capture screen stuff and get it onto dvd
Sorry for the long title but I couldn't think how to make it shorter. So here is what I'm needed to do.

I need to be able to record whatever is going on, on the computer screen and export it to vhs or dvd. Now I also need sound too and it would be nice if I can get it done in one process.

I'm aware of products like snagit and camstudio, but do either of them offer sound input?

Now to make it even more complicated this will be setup in a classroom setting where the instructor will have to control this setup, so preferrably it needs to be something really simple like push the on button and be good to go.

Anyway we can do something like this?

I have not tried either for what you described but I did find the following
Quote:
CamStudio Free Download (Latest Version: 2.1)

CamStudio - Records screen activity for use in software demonstrations.

CamStudio records screen activity from your Windows Desktop into standard AVI movie files for use in software demonstrations and active presentations. This version allows you to record audio from microphone or speakers, create anti-aliased screen captions in mutiple languages, and display a transparent webcam window. [ CamStudio ScreenShot ]
There should bo someone else that has done what you are asking. Good luck

Thanks
