Need Info On Backdoor.coreflood

anyone have any info about backdoor.coreflood? This morning when my mom turned on her computer nortons came up and said that she has that virus. She can't do anything on her computer because of it. Ie finally comes up after about 5 minutes or so from the time she clicks on it. She is lucky if her email even comes up.

oh yeah, nortons can't repair the file.
