Making a menu
Hi Guy's

What I want to do is take some of my Apps and put them all on one DVD.
And put the originals in storage.

So, I'd like to make a menu to install off of this DVD.
What's the best way to make this menu?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0
Hi user needs,

AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 is the best program I have used so far.

Another option is to use a cd/dvd cataloging program that will read the dvd after it is burnt and then when you need such a program open up your program and it can tell you to insert the dvd. I have not tried it on dvd's but it works real good on cds. So it would just be almost the same I would think.
Now that would only be good for your own use as someone else would not have any idea where to look.

Thanks

Thats a real good idea Dudlive, if you could burn that cataloging program to disc then you could insert the program and have it auto run from the cd when you insert it. that way you could reinstall all your programs from CD/DVD without installing or worrying about backing up your cataloging program.

Good point dudlive, and I hope you found the information you needed User_Needs!

The idea that ~*McoreD*~ gave is a better idea really for all purposes. Although in todays times for personal use you can use the cataloging program to catalog anything you need for your own use and yes it will work with a DVD, I just tried it to be sure. At the same time when the search is finished you choose the correct file and it will tell you which cd or dvd it is on and then insert and choose launch file but it has to be set up inorder for it to work.

I am not sure if it would launch from the dvd or not. The one that I use won't it has to be installed in order for it to be able to create a catalog.

Thanks
