I can't seem to access the Lindows Desktop. I'm dual booting XP&LindowsOS 4.0 and when it wants me to login, I login as root, and than put in my password. Than at the next prompt, I type "startx" but that gets me nowhere except an error message saying something about "server error, no screens available.....other devices aren't detected, etc, etc". Anyone else have this problem and know how to correct it? Anyone know anything? Is there another way to do this? I'd really like to try out Lindows......if only I could get 2 the desktop....

Thanks for any help I can get.

This sounds line a compatability issue , perhaps your video card is not supported or configured correctly , I have had the same type of problems trying to get virtual linux and knoppis running on my machine , I tried many times before I finally hit a configuration that would start.

I just download one version.

Do I have to put all the files on a CD, burn it and launch the setup ?

Thanks
