just now when i was messing around on the computer this window popped up (see attached picture).

now on my e: drive there is the following folder within WUTemp that i don't remeber seeing before, but i hardly ever go to that drive since it is where i store my tv shows on. the folder is named PUBNAME.4888858

and has the following files in it:
4888858.cab
amdk7.sys
k7qfe.cat
k7qfe.if

anyone have a clue?

Windows Update Directory

Where it stores temp files when you install updates via windows update or automatic updates.

Sounds like the AMD k7 Proccessor (AMD AlthlonXP) Update that was released awhile ago.
