WE WON'T SEE a client version of Microsoft's "Longhorn" operating system until late 2004, according to ENT News, in a report linked to by OS News.
The report said that's emerged from a legal document Microsoft filed last week as part of an appeal to an antitrust case brought by Sun Microsystems.
Microsoft had told its third party hardware firms that it would originally be in shape for a client Longhorn in a far advanced beta towards the end of this year, with an expected release date for spring 2004.
