ftp server software which to get?*

What is the BEST ftp server software that does everything? I ve tried bullet proof and u serv. I need something more.

Hi Beavis,

Most of the servers I see around here are one of these two. I myself run ServU and it does (almost) everything that I want it to do.

You say you need more. More in the sense that these to programs do for you, or more in the sense that you want to test more FTP Servers?

Would help you out, but all I have a little experience on is ServU, BulletProof and G6 didn't "do it for me".

i like bulletproof/g6. tried serv-u about 6 months ago and didn't like it.

You can take a trip to h**p://serverwatch.internet.com/ftpservers.html and read reviews of 20+ ftp-servers.
Hope you find something that meet your needs.

Hi Folks, I am with DopeWeasel too. Win2K Server (IIS) does a good job of Serving files in a variety of ways. It will even support better Security such as VPN connections.
