Hello,

I try to play this game and I always see a "border" like the IE6 "border" flashing in the left of my screen

How can I correct this ? I can't play the game because I don't see all the screen

Thanks

Hey Bads,

Perhaps that is the "tearing" effect people have been talking about with various games... Do you have wait for v-sync enabled? Perhaps turning this off will help you... Another thing is to be sure your monitor is running at 75Hz or better refresh rate... WinXP has a habit of keeping you at 60Hz all the time... I recommend a free utility called ReForce... It locks your refresh rates to whatever you want (or what your monitor is capable of)... If you need a copy of this utility, and can't find it online, send me a PM and I'll give it to you.

Maybe try updating the game to the most recent patch?

The only other thing I can think of is that it is a video card driver issue.. Perhaps updating your drivers...

By the way - I have the game on my PS2... It's a very fun game... Takes a bit of getting used to the controls, but overall, I am enjoying it!

Good Luck!

I guess that would do it too! Glad you found what the problem is... Now what are you waiting for?! Go enjoy the game!

I have it too for my PS2 but sometimes when it loads the game Lara is all messed up with strange poligonal shapes sticking out of her, with some expanding all the way across the room she is in.
Reloading gets it back to normal. It's very strange

Also I wish there was a completed guide for it on the internet. All I could find was Nick The Rouge's guide at www.tombraidergirl.com if anyone wants to use it. It only goes up to Prague though at the moment

What I was most angry about while playing the game, is that I ended up saving the game by accident when I died... This sucked because that just meant every time I loaded up my saved game, I was dead, meaning - Game Over...

So stupid me, I had to restart the game form the beginning! I am past where I orginally was. I am now over in the Hall of Seasons. The game is really fun as long as you can get past the slow response controls, the slight slow-down in the game every once in a while, and the saving the game when dead...

I've been able to play the game without the aid of a guide. Some levels took a bit longer to get through than others... But be sure to explore your surroundings! That is the most important thing... And save frequently!

If you need help with a level that I already have gone through, robinwilson16, let me know and I'll see if I can give you clues without ruining the game play for you.

Code:

It is a complete walkthrough, but you can search the forum for corresponding PC keys. Aiming toward the end of the game.
