Can I buy just the Communicator software? Not yet. Currently Media Center Communicator is only available with Ovation Media Center PCs. Check back for updates on further releases of software and other hardware solutions.
Does this software include voice recognition? Not this version. Voice Recognition will be included in the next edition of Communicator which is due out this Fall with the release of the Media Center Symphony Edition. We will be happy to upgrade Ovation buyers to Communicator Plus free of charge.
Does the Messenger service connect to the MSN network? No. Users of the Messenger service will be issued, free of charge, a username and password to connect to the One Voice Messenger Network. Here you can place unlimited PC-to-PC calls and video conferencing. You may obtain additional usernames and passwords from One Voice so that friends without Communicator can still connect with you. By early 2005 you will be able to connect to MSN as well as other instant messaging services such as Yahoo! and AOL using your current Communicator.
