What is the perfect slide show program for DVD? I seem to recall using Sonic DVD 3.5 that I got with my Sony laptop and it had Arcsoft Show Biz with it. Can't find my archive anywhere and don't see this in later versions of Sonic. (could be me!)

Anyway, I note that ArcSoft has a couple programs called DVD Slide Show and also ShowBiz DVD2. New stuff.

Comments? I got the trial versions from Arcsoft, but what experieces have you had?

My big need is to add commentary, music, and captions. Not many DVD programs are good at all that.

thanks

I like MemoriesOnTV, it does the pan, zooms, sync to music and a menu maker built in.

Not a bad program Vinnie. I'm still looking for a program I tried some time ago that had a rather versitile setup for captions and narration, plus music background. Having a hard time figuring out what it was. Trying the trial versions of ArcSoft, but doesn't seem to be what I remember from that test last year. Still can't beat good old pc based slide shows for ease of use and putting together 400-600 image shows. <sigh>

I found my disk with Sonic DVD 3.5 on it. It includes ShowBiz, wich has 2 sound tracks on it. Ah..... Not much progress in the DVD slide show arena. Captions, naration, and music background are essential. The idea DVD slide show program still isn't out there, far as I know.

Vinnie, I'm sold. I just made up a 4 GB slide show of my trip to Antarctica in Feb. Put some music behind. It's fantastic. Best I've seen. Thanks for your help--big tim.,
