Hi all. I am having a problem with a Zoom 3090 model USB modem. I am using Windows XP final version (2600), and as soon as i use the modem, my system CPU usage goes to 100% and stays there! The drivers i used are for Windows 2000 (well, no XP drivers around yet!) and the same modem works normally under Windows ME, on the same system. Any suggestions as to what i can do to fix things?

Thanks.

I have found the same problems when I upgraded to Win2k many moons ago.

Good drivers where slow to appear at first (giving you BSODs and pretty much unstable system to start with).

I would advise people who run a faultless Win2k setup, to STOP and think about waiting before they install XP.

Not all Win2k drivers work well under XP.

No doubt drivers will appear around the offical release date of XP though.
