what is a good video card for games

what is a good video card for games like crysis, bioshock, call of duty 4 , company of heroes, ect... I have heard that the Radeon HD 3870 512 meg ddr4 is good but do not know what brand to get. I would like something that is dx10.1 and factory overclocked.
Any suggestions are welcome.

ATM,most bang for the $ is the Nvidia Gforce 8800GT......for 250-300$,you get a card that kicks the *ss of my 400$ ATI Radeon 2900XT and that's almost as fast as it's earlier released 500$ big brother,the 8800GTX....
