E-mail Addresses To New Context Menu On Desktop?

Hey,

Is there anyway to add e-mail adderesses to the right click context New menu on the desktop.

Tried adding there but dont work:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Discardable\PostSetup\ShellNew

Also, tried TweakUI but can add shortcuts.

U know what I mean.

Like in the new menu I want be able to click a e-mail shortcut like:

fakeuser@fakehost.com

So when I click it, it lauchs my defult e-mail client with a new message to fakeuser@fakehost.com.

Hope u know what I mean. Just cant figure this one out.

I did figure out how to just make a new e-mail meassage. Outlook express. But thats not what I want.

Where would you have the email address located?
You only get the "new" option on the desktop and wouldn't the address be in a text document or notepad?

If it's a list of email addresses you could use something like metapad that resolves the addresses into links.
(they need to be listed as: mailto:fakeuser@fakehost.com)
Then when you click the address you want it opens up your default email client and the message is addressed to the recipiant.

the only way i could get remotely close to what you want is to create a shortcut on the desktop and to point it at a mail address ie for the location of files dialog in the create shortcut link enter an email address in this format

Yea I know thats what I've been using. I just have a ton of them. Would just be easier and better looking in context menu. :P
