Since Apple made the great migration to Intel and the x86 architecture, much of the mystery around its product roadmap has disappeared. Unlike Apple, whose obsession with secrecy makes the Illuminati and Trilateral Commission look loose-lipped, Intel is quite open about its future plans. As a result, reading the tea leaves when it comes to Apple's product updates is much easier... it becomes a matter of when, not what.
