Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard
I have been considering a power mac, and one of the most compelling reasons is the New OS, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard...

Does Anyone know when this OS is "officially" going to be released?

Thanks!

October. Like soon. I've been helping a friend with a dilemma. She has an ancient 10 year old eMachine. She is intent on apple. I've read up on the iMac and check them out at the Apple store Sunday. Like a BiG WOW! If I were starting over again at zero, this would be the machine.

On the otherhand there is just too much software for Windows floating around and I need that for my daily joy.

Leopard is for sale on Amazon, pre order for C$180. It looks like a no brainer. lots of interesting improvements. This is really going to give Billy some upset stomach moments. Especially now that iMac, the laptop and the mini have an Intel chip in them. You can run Xp either in dual boot or on a VM (Parallel) Cool move on the part of apple.
