xp tweaks...speed up booting, etc

What if any hacks could I do to Windows XP, to speed up boot time and shut down time. Also how about execution of programs/etc. Also What other hacks would be recommended for me to do, I just re-installed XP Pro on a friends computer (1.2Ghz Celeron), so any extra tweaks would appreciated!

I like this tweaker Tune XP from DriverHeaven (free)_hxtp://www.driverheaven.net/dforce
good for arranging the boot files and defraging them.
