Hi
Google has released its new tool bar(beta version) and it can block popup ads. I have installed and it is really cool . Already blocked 33 popups
you can download this at http://toolbar.google.com/install-beta

Just installed it... So far, so good... The pop-up window blocking feature is nice... Works like a charm!... I wonder if this beta release fixes the issue that sometimes the Google bar will appear below when it is locked on the same line as the Address field... We'll soon find out I guess...

Does anyone happen to know if you can download the toolbar as a file, rather than being forced to install it straight from the Google site? It would be nice to have the .exe file right there whenever I need it.

As far as I could remember, at the time of analog_chainsaw posted Google Toolbar wasn't avaliable in EXE format. But now it is.
Code:
http://toolbar.google.com/

And Saracen, welcome to the board.

Yeah, I remember posting on this thread when the toolbar had an installer you can download from Google's website... It must have been wiped out when the MySQL table got corrupted a month or so back.
