Media Players
Anybody doing anything with Media Players?

I have a buddy who bought a D-Link DSM 520 and is having fits with it. It won't read VOB or ISO as will MViX and has trouble decoding ac3. D-Link sieems slow to update the Linux firmware.

I've geen trying to help him with conversion software to convgert VOB/ISo files to avi. The idea of the media player is it's wireless and plays movies you have on your LAN. We both are using D-Link DNS 323 servers using 2 500GB drives. These servers basically stay on line 24/7 and can be used as FTP or iPOD servers. They run on Linux firmware.

I'm totally OTL on this aspect, but there are forums that specialise in this gear. Anybody doing anything in this domain?

be that as it may, I'm using my DNS 323 as my ftp server and it's always on line.
