Seeking Nero 7 Registry "Hack"
If it even exists.
Anyone who uses Nero regularly to burn audio cd's knows there is a check box on the Audio CD tab of the Burn Compilation box that says "No pause between tracks". It's a great feature except for one thing. Everytime you start a new compilation, you have to recheck the box. Does anyone know of a registry entry that can be modified to leave this box checked by default?
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried finding the relevant registry entry and changing the permissions so that only you have access to change it?

Download a copy of Reg Snap and monitor the registry when you change the setting.

Try this Al, it's the only thing i could find in the registry. Just delete the .txt extension and merge it with your registry.

Thank you both, but I think I'll have to rely on the check box from the looks of things.

No! I *never* convert/burn on the fly. I always convert to wav, then burn.

Hi y'all dropping in late... you can't be talking bout the same source can you? That quote for MP3?

Guess which format ya choose is slightly dependent on how you'll access the music down the rizoad.
If I'm using winamp /foobar (on da box), and an ipod (in da street).
Flac transcodes easily to mp3 for portable thingies.

Riddle me this: I wanna rip 2-300 CDs to digital format, definately wanna use a lossless *_archive_* format, play that *_* format around da crib on wicked nice hardware & later transcode same *_* format to MP3, 4 or lossy WMA for portable players... space really ain't all that much of an issue. Me know it's been debated forever <Ford or Chevy> but how am i gonna do this lil project? Recommendations please?

Quote:
FLAC is open source, supported by more hardware, but less support in Windows.
APE, has probably the best windows support (JRMC) but less linux hardware support.
WMA, has the great advantage of MCE integration, and hopefully hardware support, but limited cross platform support.
Again stratagy would be to figure out what your gonna do with the music first what software u'd be using, and pick the format that's the best match...

Why go to all the trouble to find high quality .flac /.ape in the first place then lower quality by converting to mp3. Or taking all the time converting to wav. Tags ? just playin... been off tha map for a while. Glad to be home.
